German pianist Tobias Haunhorst has been a guest in numerous concert halls in Germany and beyond. Performances have brought him to European cities like Amsterdam, Rotterdam, Lisbon and London as well as Baltimore, Philadelphia and Washington, D.C in America.

As a soloist, Tobias regularly performs with orchestras such as the Nordwestdeutsche Philarmonie, Neue Philarmonie Westfalen, Bergische Symphoniker, Philarmonie Sudwestfalen, Bayer Philharmoniker and Wuppertal Symphony Orchestra. In recent seasons, he has collaborated with the Arch Sinfonia Orchestra for Beethoven’s Emperor Concerto in London, and played Schumann’s Piano Concerto with the Cologne Chamber Orchestra under Christoph Poppen.

Apart from the solo repertoire, Tobias maintains an avid interest in chamber music and teaching. He is the founding director of Music in Resonance – Festival and Summer Academy in Northern Italy.

First Prize Winner of two international piano competitions, he has also been a laureate of numerous German national awards.
